Torah & Tea
Torah & Tea: Where Warmth, Wisdom & Women Meet Because You Deserve a Moment for Yourself Picture this: A steaming cup of tea in your hands, a group of incredible Jewish women around you, and a thought-provoking Torah discussion that leaves you inspired, energized, and ready to take on the world. That’s Torah & Tea. What is Torah & Tea? Torah & Tea is a no-fuss, all-heart gathering for Jewish women who crave meaningful conversation, a little soul food, and a warm, welcoming space. Held once a month around Mushka’s dining room table, it’s where wisdom meets warmth, and where friendships flourish as naturally as the tea flows.

Shavuot Celebration & Dairy Dinner
Come Stand at Sinai, Right Here on Mercer Island 3,336 years ago every Jewish soul gathered at Mount Sinai to receive the Torah. On Monday, May 22nd at 5:15 pm we’ll relive that moment together live, local, and kid-friendly at Chabad Mercer Island. Hearing the Ten Commandments straight from a Torah scroll isn’t a history lesson; it’s our annual family reunion with G-d, and your seat is already reserved. Cheesecake Makes Everything Better The moment the Torah is read we roll right into a full dairy dinner: velvety cheesecakes, crispy blintzes, salads, and an ice-cream bar the kids will attack with holy enthusiasm. While little ones dive into the fun and sprinkles, adults can linger over good conversation and a splash of wine. There’s no charge- just RSVP so we can save you a fork. All ages, all backgrounds, all welcome. Save Your Spot Today Ready to taste Shavuot? RSVP, block the date, and invite a friend who could use a warm dose of Jewish pride (and a slice of cheesecake). Walk-ins are welcome, but early RSVPs help us keep the blintzes hot and the ice-cream cold. Let’s celebrate Torah, community, and dairy deliciousness- see you May 22!
