Welcome the New Year in the fresh air- by the water, with friends, and in a way that’s simple, warm, and meaningful. We’ll gather at Luther Burbank Park to hear the shofar, share a brief word of inspiration, and walk to the shoreline for Tashlich–casting away the past and opening space for a sweet, fresh start. Apples and honey will be on hand, and everything is family-friendly, explained, and easy to follow.
- Hear the shofar, outdoors: Short, uplifting moments you’ll actually remember—no Hebrew required.
- Tashlich by the water: Clear how-to, quick prayers provided, and a welcoming vibe for all ages.
When: Tuesday, September 23, 5:00 PM
Where: Luther Burbank Park, 2040 84th Ave SE, Mercer Island, WA 98040
Free and open to all. Bring a friend, a blanket if you like, and your holiday spirit. Please RSVP (free) so we can plan for apples, honey, and handouts. Let’s set the tone for a year of connection, clarity, and blessing—together.
